I was born in 1984, in the beautiful and shiny city of Lisbon. It was Spring and flowers were blooming and welcoming new life into this world. The story goes that it all happened too fast- the water broke, my mom almost didn’t make it to the hospital, and I was born with my right hand on my forehead (sorry mom!). I like to believe it was a sign that I was so eager to come into this amazing life and that I was already giving it some serious thought. *** “The great and glorious masterpiece of humanity is to know how to live with a purpose.” - Montaigne ***
80’s – 90’s
Seeing from the outside, I grew up as an average child; surrounded with love and care as all children should. But within I always felt different in ways I couldn’t quite grasp at such young age. Though some would call it shyness, I always preferred to consider myself as an observer. Since early on, I developed the keen interest in understanding human nature, behavior, and what drove people to choose certain paths. I would spend most of my time reading, analyzing patterns, and trying to make sense of all things in life. *** “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” - Oscar Wilde ***
As I stepped into my teenage years, I started to become aware of what my karmic challenges were. At the age of 14, I had my first “on stage” experience. I was so shy and afraid of exposure that I challenged myself to audition for a part in the school musical play. Much to my surprise I got the part and continued on that path until I graduated from high school. Though it never really felt comfortable to me, I realized then that there was some magic in inspiring others in some way, and that one can only play that role when is free from the constraints of self-criticism. *** “The only thing you have to fear is fear itself.” ***
My journey with numbers began long before I realized the importance they were to have one day in my life. For fun, or maybe intuition, I was given a numerology reading for my 17th birthday. Thirsty for information about myself, but conditioned by a young age that would only allow me to absorb what made sense at the time, I decided to save it in a place reserved for mysteries yet to be revealed. I didn’t abandon, however, the desire to know more about myself and proceeded to follow my studies in Numerology, as an autodidact, and keeping it only to myself. *** “The degree to which a person can grow is directly proportional to the amount of truth he can accept about himself without running away.” - Leland Val Van De Wall ***
2006 – 2011
Following what many expected from me, I finished my academic studies in European Studies and, later on, in Business Management. I committed to a path that looked sharp and right, but incomplete. At the age of 27 I was apparently “doing well” in life, but feeling miserable and lost. Following my intuition, I went back and reread that numerology report. It all made sense - it was about time to make changes, to break the rules that had kept me stuck to the conventional, and simply follow what felt right to me. *** “Any circumstance which compels us, binds us, and limits us the possibility of being ourselves is never a path, but a dead end.” - Ana Sequeira ***
Great acts of courage do not always arise from prosperous times. In my case, my act of courage came from having no other way out. In 2012 I decided to end the cycle and take a leap of faith. I quit my previous “safe and stable ” job, I became a professional numerologist, and got married to the love of my life. What better way to start a new life cycle than this? *** “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” - Mark Twain ***
It is often said that once you get to do what you love, you no longer feel like you have a job. Between private consultations, workshops, training, and a lot of traveling, my life has been so much more than putting myself out into the world through my work. I have been blessed to be able to share my passion and inspire others to do the same. I believe we are all born with a path of success that makes life an evolutionary process. Happiness is within reach for those who are willing to go within. Success is only a step away from the desire to make our life an example of achievement and love. *** “I have a definition of success; It’s about how many shining eyes I have around me.” - Benjamin Zander ***
